Assalamualaikum (Peace be upon you)!
I am Anis Uddin Ahmad. A Muslim, Bangladeshi, Web Application Architect.
Professionally working with Web Application development for more than 8 years. In this time, I have played various roles in different companies and projects, from Developer to Architect to Consultant. Working with local teams on a single table as well as remotely with geographically diverse teams. My experience includes developing wide variety of web applications and services ranging from API for SOA based realtime games to business critical automation applications to large scale portal with huge traffic handling and so on.
I have been working as the CTO of WNeeds Ltd. for last 5 years. WNeeds develops scalable, enterprise ready web applications for local and international businesses. Here, I am involved in providing the overall technical direction in client projects and building teams for providing solutions with cutting edge technologies.
I do unit testing for code, functional testing for features, offload heavy operations using distributed processing, write robust, tested code. Comfortable on both RDBMS and NoSQL. Although primarily a LAMP guy, I work in Java, Ruby and Python almost regularly. I use cloud servers from Rackspace, Amazon AWS or Linode for testing and deploying most of my applications.
In 2009, I became a Zend Certified Engineer (ZCE) on PHP5. LAMP has been my primary technology stack. Agile methodologies are my way of software development and I am especially a Scrum guy. Publicly speaking in local IT events since 2009. Have reviewed few books as technical reviewer at packtpub.com.
I am an M.Sc. (Botany) from Chittagong College.
Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging !!! Hope to see lots of contribution from you !!

Hello… You’ve got a very good handle on your php 🙂 I’m a bit of a novice, yet I’d like to know if you might know of a way that I could mimic a “Web-Trigger”? What I mean is… I’m noticing a trend where certain websites have a simple form on their site, where as all one has to do is input their mobile number and click SEND… within seconds the individual gets an sms sent to their mobile phone.
I want to have such a function on my site, so that I could allow visitors to get an sms containing the url to my mobile site sent to their mobile phones…hence forth, a “web-trigger.” Have any ideas how this is done? I’d appreciate any help you could give me.
Thanks!
Keith
